DIY: Cupcakes

Whipping up a batch of beautiful cupcakes could
not be simpler or more fulfilling with this recipe
I have found. So what recipe is it then? 
It is the great vanilla cupcake recipe  
from Joy of Baking, a fantastic baking site 
with many great cake and cupcake recipes btw.  For any of you
brave enough to try this at home, especially in this scorching heat, I think

I hate to admit this but every time I make one of these Barbie cakes I always

start singing the lyrics to Aqua's Barbie Girl song, do you remember?  "I'm a barbie girl, in a

barbie world, life in plastic, it's fantastic"  

......ANYWAY, back to this blog posting. I just wanted to show off this beautiful pink

barbie cake.  The 8 year-old girl saw it and said,  "I can't dare to cut it.  I want to keep it like that

forever!"  *Sigh*  So sweet!
